Saimplify is a Brisbane-based AI and automation consulting business founded by Ed Betts. Ed spent more than 20 years at IBM designing and deploying programmes that helped cross-functional teams across Asia Pacific and globally adopt new tools, systems, and ways of working.

That experience in driving organisational change and capability uplift informs how Saimplify works: practical recommendations grounded in how organisations actually operate, with a focus on reducing complexity and improving consistency through better-designed systems and processes.

What sets Saimplify apart is Ed's combination of technology and change expertise. Implementing a new tool or workflow is one part of the challenge. Getting a team to trust it, adopt it, and actually change how they work is the other, and it's the part that's most often overlooked. Having spent a career at IBM focused on both sides of that equation, Ed brings the same rigour to the people side as to the technology side.

Over the past 12 months Ed has invested more than 1,500 hours working directly with AI and automation technologies, not studying them from a distance, but building with them. That has included developing fully functioning SaaS applications, websites, reporting systems, and integrations across numerous tools and platforms. It is that combination of strategic experience and hands-on capability that Saimplify clients benefit from.
